Working with Us

Hemtjänst Ditt Liv is located in Njurunda and is run by me, Emelie Söderström. We have a background in home care and emergency medical services, and here we do everything we missed as employees.

Here you will experience a fantastic community between staff and customers. To break the daily routine, we often come up with activities and new ways to deliver our care.

When you work with us, you become part of shaping the operation. Today we are 17 people plus a few temporary staff members who together find the best possible ways of working, create activities, attend training, and discuss our work environment and conditions.

We have a creative view of care that always starts with the customer. When you work with us, we trust you. We follow rules and decisions, but we know that good care does not fit with overly strict routines. It must start with the customer. Therefore, we give you great freedom – you are the expert.

Qualifications

• You are educated in healthcare, or have other education that the employer considers equivalent. You can also be a student.
• We prefer that you have experience in human care work.
• You are easy to adapt to different people and circumstances with a good attitude.
• A driver's license for a manual car is a requirement as driving is part of the job.

Tasks

You will provide nursing and service measures of high quality to the customers you visit, based on a professional approach. The work includes performing delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and documentation according to current guidelines. You work from a rehabilitative approach to give the customer the opportunity to improve or maintain their abilities. Provide security and treat everyone with respect. The tasks cover everything in the customer's daily life that they need support and help with.

Good Scheduling

Continuity is very important, so you will primarily work with the customers you are the contact person for. We do not control your schedule in detail. As long as all measures are carried out within the same week, you and the customer decide how to organize the work. Maybe you can do the laundry on Tuesday so you have time to go for coffee on Wednesday?

Do you need to leave early to take the children to the dentist or make it to the hairdresser appointment you've been looking forward to? That can usually be arranged too. You clock in and out and control how you organize your time, as long as you take responsibility for ensuring your customer is well and everything gets done.

Education

Every spring we undergo CPR training and training in lifting and moving techniques. In addition, we have ongoing training in subjects such as dementia, nutrition, threats & violence, palliative care, etc. Wish for what you want, and we will make decisions together!

Either we do training for everyone, or if you have something specific you want to learn? We want you to be curious and strive to learn new things, and we are happy to help. Right now, we are undergoing star rating within dementia.

New Technology

Whether you work in the office or out in care, you work with the latest technology. Via the personnel system on your mobile, you can swap shifts, apply for leave, see your schedule, and see who you are working with.

While you work, you are supported by a customer system that gives you background information about the customer, what has been done, and what needs to be done. You also use a lock app instead of keys to get in and out at the customers' homes.
