About the role

Do you want to be part of the journey as one of Örebro's sharpest electrical teams grows and takes the next step? At AFRY, you will step into modern offices in the heart of central Örebro, where the atmosphere is non-hierarchical and cohesion is high. As an Electrical Designer at AFRY, you will become a key player in their in-house projects within electrical and telecommunication infrastructure. Here you will have significant independent responsibility, designing and planning everything from hospitals to schools. You will have direct dialogue with customers and transform their needs into finished construction drawings and technical documentation.

This is a consulting assignment where you will be a consultant via Academic Work for 6 months, with the ambition that your employment will transfer to AFRY thereafter.

Responsibilities

In the role of Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components, ensuring that technical requirements are met, and contributing to innovative solutions.

  • Perform electrical design and system design
  • Create technical specifications and drawings in CAD
  • Contact with the customer

We are looking for you who

  • Have a relevant post-secondary education, preferably as an electrical designer or electrical engineer
  • Have work experience from the field, e.g., as an electrician or technician
  • Have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken

It is an advantage if you have

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD with the MagiCAD add-on
  • Knowledge of calculation programs within electrical power and lighting
