We are now looking for a new colleague with good initiative and positive energy for our store Stora Coop Hallarna in Halmstad. We expect you to have experience in butchery, work efficiently with high precision, and strive to minimize waste. You deliver high quality, both in product delivery and in your professional customer service.

As a person, you are creative, eager to suggest new ideas, and enjoy working in a team. You have an eye for detail and the engagement to create a welcoming, sales-oriented, and inspiring store. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have the will to continuously develop both the business and yourself.

You will primarily work as a butcher, but other common store tasks may also occur, such as:

• Restocking shelves and facing products
• Building displays on sales floors and end-caps
• Working with physical inventory and waste reduction
• Carrying out self-inspections
• Keeping the store clean and tidy

Together with your colleagues, you will be the face of the store, where the customer is number one. You find it easy to build long-term customer relationships and inspire customers to enjoy their shopping. You enjoy being on the move and working physically. Working in a store offers variety and sometimes a fast pace; it is important that you feel confident in handling stressful situations.

Previous experience in the grocery retail sector is highly meritorious, but personal suitability is at least as important to us at Coop. Knowledge and experience in butchery are required, including safe knife handling and machine operation. The workday involves spending most of your time in cold rooms. The job involves heavy lifting and is physically demanding.

The position is a part-time temporary contract, 20 hours/week, with a start date according to agreement until September 30, 2026, with a good chance of extension. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.

• Good Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement
• 18 years of age, as the position involves age-regulated machinery
• Experience and competence in retail and/or other service professions are meritorious
• Knowledge and experience in butchery are required
