Summer Temporary Positions – Personal Assistants for a Cheerful and Playful 14-Year-Old Girl Outside Hudiksvall

We are looking for you who want to work as an hourly temporary assistant this summer and who can already start taking shifts to get to know the assignment. We are only looking for female assistants.

About the Assignment

You will be a personal assistant to a 14-year-old girl with a brain injury that affects her vision, speech, and ability to understand dangers or complex instructions. She needs support and help with everything in daily life and has 24-hour personal assistance.

In this role, you are with her on her terms. She likes to play, go on outings in her own car, visit the playground, swim, listen to music, read books, sit in the sandbox, go down the slide, swing, do gymnastics, play with Lego, and do puzzles. You are part of a dedicated team of assistants whom she calls her "friends".

There are pets in the home – you must not be allergic. The girl lives 1 mile outside Hudiksvall, has siblings, and has assistance at school during the day.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with the right personality for the assignment: responsible, empathetic, and attentive, but also cheerful and positive. You are punctual but also flexible and can step in to cover staffing gaps – something that is extra important during the summer.

You have a calm and methodical working style, are stress-resistant, and have great patience. You work well both independently and in a team.

Assistants use sign language as support – training is provided if you do not already have it.

Requirements: A driver's license and access to a car are required to get to the workplace.
