Take full responsibility as Tech Lead DigEx at Reitan Convenience Sweden in Stockholm and shape the technical direction

At Reitan Convenience Sweden's service office, we work to support the franchisees of Pressbyrån and 7-Eleven in their daily operations. IT development plays a central role here in developing the digital solutions that meet both store and customer needs. As Tech Lead for DigEx Frontend, you will have a key role in the development of the company's loyalty applications and web solutions. You will lead the frontend team's technical work and act as the bridge between architecture, implementation, and business. The role involves setting the technical direction, establishing sustainable ways of working, and ensuring long-term quality and scalability.

This is what you will do with us

• Lead the DigEx team's technical work and act as a mentor and coach for the developers.
• Translate overarching visions into functional and scalable implementations.
• Ensure high technical delivery through clear standards, ways of working, and guidelines.
• Contribute to the design of new solutions, integrations, and estimates based on business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the backend team and solution architect to ensure a long-term and cohesive technical direction.

Your team and workplace

The IT and digitalization function at Reitan Convenience Sweden has two product teams: DevOps (backend) and DigEx (frontend). Both teams work according to an agile product development model. DevOps is responsible for the service platform in Google Cloud Platform and its integrations, while DigEx develops loyalty applications and adjacent web solutions.

As Tech Lead, you have the overall technical responsibility for the frontend area and lead the DigEx team in close collaboration with DevOps. The role is central to the interaction between architecture, development, and business, and you contribute with a clear holistic perspective, both technically and organizationally. The position is located at the service office in Stockholm, where you will become part of a culture characterized by trust, responsibility, and consideration.

More about you

You have at least five years of experience in modern software development and a strong foundation in JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies. You have worked with React and React Native in more complex environments and have a good understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and API integrations. We would like you to have experience with Google Cloud Platform or another similar cloud platform, including BigQuery.

You work agilely and understand how technical decisions affect business and customer experience, preferably within retail or product organizations.

As a person, you are self-reliant, solution-oriented, and communicative. You take initiative and are comfortable working towards clear results. You collaborate naturally with both developers and stakeholders and communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
