About the Role

As a Category Manager at the group level, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing framework agreements with a special focus on waste and reuse within the company's group. The goal is to ensure access to goods and services, strengthen the organization's competitiveness, and ensure that suppliers meet the established requirements and expectations of the various business units. In this role, you will work with digitalization and sustainability issues. This position is for you who thrive with a high degree of responsibility and will collaborate closely with environmental specialists and other stakeholders, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills.

This position is for 6 months with potential for extension. The client wishes for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

In this role, there is a strong focus on developing and improving supplier relationships and contracts, where you will also handle new legal requirements. The work involves a mix of strategic development and operational problem-solving to ensure efficient procurement processes.

• Develop and improve existing contracts.
• Negotiate new framework agreements and adapt them to new legal requirements.
• Meet with suppliers to optimize collaborations and solve challenges.
• Focus on reuse and analysis of environmental data.
• Ensure clear documentation and presentation strategy for contracts.

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least four years of experience in procurement work.
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Is meticulous and solution-oriented with a strong customer perspective, while also being attentive and humble.
• Has a strong personal drive and ability to take initiative.

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience in a similar role as a Category Buyer.
• Experience in a procurement role from the waste or reuse industry.
• Experience from the construction industry.
• Experience with the Qlik Sense system.
