Are you a skilled CNC lathe operator driven by technical precision and high quality? On behalf of Robustus Wear Components, we are now looking for an engaged production technician who wants to become part of a competent team focused on top-class contract manufacturing.

About the position

Robustus Wear Components AB manufactures details with special expertise in products with very high quality and tight tolerances. They possess about ten lathes of various sizes and offer an environment characterized by high technical expertise. Here, the right person gets the chance to work with advanced manufacturing in a team that values collaboration and commitment.

As a production technician at Robustus, you will have a varied day-to-day with a strong focus on professional knowledge and flexibility. The work includes everything from one-off manufacturing to smaller series in materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, plastic, and bronze. Since many products require grinding as the final operation, high demands are placed on accuracy throughout the entire process.

They are a great team that now needs to be strengthened by at least one person who appreciates teamwork and can step up when required.

Responsibilities

In the role of production technician, you are responsible for ensuring the highest efficiency and results in manufacturing. Your main tasks include:

  • Creating programs, primarily in GibbsCAM, as well as setting up and running programs for one-off manufacturing and control.
  • Being responsible for feed rates, operation sequences, and tool selection for turning.
  • Preparing instructions and setup sheets and conducting handover to operators.
  • Acting as a technical expert and providing support to operators in daily operations.

We are looking for you who

  • Have previous experience as a CNC lathe operator and are self-reliant in your work.
  • Have a high school education.
  • Speak and write Swedish fluently as it will be used in daily work.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Post-secondary education with a technical focus.
  • Experience in CNC programming, primarily in GibbsCAM, as well as machine programming in Okuma and Fanuc.
  • Experience with CMM (coordinate measuring machines), grinding, CAD, and machining of carbide.
  • Knowledge of how surface treatment and hardening affect manufacturing.
  • Previous experience as a leader or coordinator.
