About the role
Hemmavid works with modern digital tools and data-driven methods to streamline property management and improve the customer experience. As a junior property manager, you will work in an environment where digitalization is a natural part of daily work, and you will be the face of the company towards tenants. You will be part of a non-hierarchical team of 6 people where collaboration is central. Your role is crucial for smooth management; you are the one who catches the ball, structures the solution, and ensures the customer always feels supported.
Daily, you will handle incoming cases from tenants via phone and email, prioritize actions, and coordinate contractors until the problem is solved. The role involves broad work within property management – from case handling and tenant contact to insight into technical and financial management as well as local adaptations.
You will get early responsibility and the opportunity to develop in the role. You will work in an engaged team with good opportunities for competence development and the ability to influence your work. You will receive a thorough introduction where an experienced property manager acts as your mentor. For the right person, there are clear paths forward, for example, towards becoming a property manager. Here, decision-making paths are short, and your drive for improvements is encouraged. Responsibilities
In the role of Junior Property Manager, you combine customer contact with structure and coordination. You are expected to take ownership of your cases and solve them all the way to completion. We are looking for someone who is curious, driven, and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where you get to influence both your own development and how we work as a company. You enjoy taking initiative, improving work methods, and contributing to developing both the business and the customer experience. Your primary tasks will be:
- Receive and prioritize maintenance reports via phone and email (daily case handling).
- Solve simpler cases independently and book contractors (e.g., plumbing, electrical) when needed.
- Ensure feedback to tenants and that cases are closed only when fully resolved.
- Meticulous documentation in our systems to ensure high quality and follow-up.
- Support the property manager in daily work and drive/participate in various types of projects together with the responsible manager, such as local adaptations or improvement initiatives in the properties.
- Maintain contact with contractors and suppliers.
We are looking for you who
We place great importance on your personal attitude and drive. We believe you are at the beginning of your career and looking for a workplace to develop at. Furthermore, you have:
- Completed upper secondary education.
- Experience from service professions, e.g., customer service, retail, restaurant.
- Fluent in speaking and writing Swedish and English.
- Interest in real estate and the property industry.
It is an advantage if you have
- Post-secondary education in property management or other within real estate.
- Experience with property management systems (e.g., Pigello or similar).
To succeed in the role, you take ownership of your cases and drive them all the way to completion. You thrive in a high tempo with many parallel tasks. Furthermore, you are comfortable with daily contact with customers via phone and are curious and willing to learn several parts of property management, both technical and financial.
