Section Manager Preparation & Control

Your Role

In your role as Section Manager, you will be responsible for our Preparation & Control department, which handles welding and quality issues within production. The team's work aims to optimize and develop the organization's operations to promote efficient and practical working methods. Developing quality and control plans, welding development, quality assurance, and inspections are some of the section's tasks. You will plan, allocate, and organize daily work, as well as create a sense of security and promote a good working climate.

Close collaboration with and support for the production operations is a crucial success factor.

Furthermore, you will plan, lead, and develop the unit based on the business's goals and project participation.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is skilled at leading and motivating your employees, as the position involves personnel responsibility. You enjoy administrative tasks and driving investigations of various kinds.

The following are our requirements:

• Relevant education and industry experience.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in similar tasks.
• You can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• You have good computer and system skills.
• You hold a Class B driver's license.

The following are considered assets:

• IWT or IWS, or equivalent technical education.
• Post-secondary education in technology and leadership or equivalent.
• Practical welding experience within industry.
• Academic education or professional experience in quality work.

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance according to regulations valid at the time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
