Your Role

At Saab in Landskrona, we have been producing parts for submarine production in Karlskrona for over a year. We are currently in a significant expansion phase and are now seeking heavy lifting specialists for our growing team. You will have the opportunity to help build complex structures and production aids for Saab's submarine production at an expanding shipyard.

Your main task will involve heavy lifting; therefore, we prefer candidates with experience in lifting loads between 50 and 200 tons. As a logistics employee, you will also be responsible for material handling of components and steel structures, both in production and storage. You will plan and execute transports using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other lifting equipment, ensuring that materials and components are in the right place at the right time. Collaboration is crucial in this role as it is required to perform complex work correctly. We are looking for a team player with a good ability to motivate and lead your colleagues where needed.

Your Profile

We are looking for an engaged employee with a desire to develop. To enjoy the work, you must like working extensively with problem-solving. You will encounter tasks that require great precision, where you need to plan how the work should proceed and execute the task using problem-solving skills.

A requirement for the position is previous experience in lifting, heavy transport, and overhead cranes, as well as holding a forklift license. At Saab, it is important that you are solution-oriented, meticulous, and driven by a will to develop. The nature of the work requires you to be proficient in English.

We consider the following as meritorious:

• Experience with electronics or hydraulics

• Safe lifting certification (Säkralyft)

• Lift certificate

• Hot work certification

• Fall protection certification

• Experience in blueprint reading

• Experience operating mobile cranes, overhead cranes, and telescopic handlers to lift complex structures

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current safety regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security clearance, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
