On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer with an interest in automation to help develop the next generation of freezing systems. ABOUT THE ROLE

The department in Helsingborg is responsible for developing freezing systems and creating the groundwork for new platforms. The team consists of approximately 15 people, including engineers, technical project managers, and specialists. The group is experienced, with many members having around 10 years of experience in the field. Work is conducted in large development projects as well as smaller feasibility studies and improvement initiatives.

The person appointed to this role will initially work as a designer in ongoing projects, with the opportunity to take on greater technical responsibility over time. This is a long-term and developmental role with excellent growth opportunities.

In larger projects, such as the development of a new generation of freezers, you will be responsible for parts of the design based on given frameworks such as space claims and technical requirements. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the lead engineer and colleagues in mechanics, electrical engineering, and automation.

Responsibilities

• CAD design using Creo
• Preparation of technical documentation
• Basic calculations and support in FEM analysis
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Participation in smaller feasibility studies coordinating both technical and administrative aspects

REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field
• Have at least one year of work experience in a comparable field, preferably in mechanics or design
• Have good proficiency in CAD
• Be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as these languages are used for internal and external communication

This is a direct hire, meaning Friday manages and is responsible for the recruitment process, but you will be employed directly by our client.
