We are looking for a Project Manager for our technical department. Do you enjoy leading projects, collaborating closely with operations, and being a key part of our modernization and development journey? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

Your Assignment

As a Project Manager at GELITA, you will take on a central role driving projects across several technical areas. You will work closely with production, maintenance, and our technical specialists. There is strong internal competence here – so you do not need to be an expert in everything, but rather a confident and structured project manager who enjoys setting frameworks, creating order, and moving between details and the big picture.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, leading, and following up on facility and maintenance projects together with operations and maintenance.
• Serving as the project's contact person towards suppliers and consultants.
• Preparing technical investigations, cost estimates, request for proposal documents, and materials for offer evaluations.
• Ensuring that projects are delivered according to schedule, budget, and requirements throughout the execution.

We believe you have:

• A university degree in one of the following areas: mechanics, maintenance, mechanical engineering, or construction – or other relevant education/experience deemed equivalent.
• Experience in leading projects, preferably in an industrial environment. Certification (e.g., IPMA) is a plus but not a requirement.
• A broad technical interest and the ability to see the big picture in complex projects.
• Good understanding of pressure vessels, piping systems, pumps, heat exchangers, separators, and decanters.
• Experience from the process industry with a high degree of automation is an asset.
