Automation solutions are a growing area within healthcare and health. Industrial solutions are being adapted and moved into healthcare, and we now need to strengthen our team with two Systems Specialists at the hospital in Malmö. At the Service Services unit, we primarily collaborate with Region Skåne's service administrations, but we also work directly with healthcare to free up time and develop care throughout the region. We are an active recipient of automation solutions for both new construction projects and the modernization of existing environments. We drive several exciting and innovative automation projects, such as AGV robots for transport and an automatic sterile technical unit at Skåne University Hospital in Malmö. This sterile technical unit will supply all hospital departments, clinics, and operating units with disinfected and sterile material and will be among the most automated sterile centers in the world.

We welcome you who want to join a happy and engaged team where everyone has different backgrounds and experiences. With us, we work with cutting-edge technology as well as modern processes and tools. You will become part of a knowledgeable and driven team with a supportive work culture with a strong focus on collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Systems Specialist with us, you are responsible for maintaining the operational reliability of automation equipment within your area throughout the entire product lifecycle, primarily through preventive and corrective maintenance. The tasks include, among other things, planning, follow-up, and documentation of service work together with other colleagues. As part of second-line support, you also work with technical consultation, participate in development work, and handle installation, configuration, and decommissioning of automation equipment.

To effectively solve and support incoming cases from various partners, you have daily contact with different units within Region Skåne and, in some cases, suppliers related to your area of responsibility. The content of the work may change over time to best respond to new needs, and there are good opportunities to both develop and influence.

We have operations throughout the region, and work at locations other than your placement site may occur as needed. Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology and good knowledge of operational technology. You have built this knowledge either through a civil engineering education or another technical education combined with experience of working with operational technology that we consider equivalent. As a person, we see that you are responsible, solution-oriented, and able to act quickly when problems arise.

To be considered for the position, you must have:

  • Experience of technical problem-solving in a relevant area (e.g., automation solutions, control systems, or robotics).
  • Good understanding of communication and information flows between operational technology and IT systems.
  • Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have taken courses in automation, robotics, and/or mechatronics. It is also beneficial if you have basic knowledge of regulations, standards, and directives for operational technology.

To succeed in the position, you need to be proactive, thrive in a dynamic environment, and be skilled at communicating with both colleagues and customers/suppliers. You are curious and driven to learn new things and dive into different technological solutions. It is also important that you are structured, have a high service mindset, and understand the importance of working process-oriented and documenting your work. Of course, you work according to Region Skåne's values. We are keen to find the right person for the role and place great importance on personal suitability.

Warmly welcome with your application, we look forward to getting to know you!

We plan to conduct interviews starting from week 18.
