Are you a newly graduated engineer looking to combine clear professional development with exciting assignments at the forefront of technology? The program offers you a structured and ambitious start to your career as a technical consultant, where you will alternate between qualified assignments and training in technology, personal development, and experience building – all according to Combitech's recognized methodology.

Your role as a consultant within IPS at Combitech

As a consultant at Combitech and a participant in our Talent Program, you will have the opportunity to work on a demanding consulting assignment throughout the program, for example within the defense industry. Simultaneously, you will participate in a tailored training setup based on your ambitions, goals, and future career direction. The program is designed to give you both deep technical competence and a broad understanding of how technology, people, and operations interact.

IPS, Integrated Product Support, is an internationally established management strategy used primarily within the defense sector but also in civil industry. The strategy means that operations, maintenance, and support are considered early in system development and thereafter throughout the system's lifecycle. In civil contexts, similar approaches may be referred to as RAMS or Life Cycle Management. By influencing system design and support solutions at an early stage, IPS contributes to creating accessible, secure, and cost-effective systems over time.

In this role, you will work on the development of products and systems with a clear lifecycle perspective. Tasks may include maintenance planning, spare parts optimization, reliability and lifecycle analysis, requirements management, and eventually leadership and coordination within these areas. You will become part of a context where your contribution leads to robust technical solutions and, in the long run, to a safer and more sustainable society.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a relevant engineering education, for example in mechanical engineering, electronics, or industrial economics, and who has a good basic technical understanding. You are meticulous, structured, and analytical in your working style and enjoy collaborating and building relationships with others. You like to network, share knowledge, and learn from colleagues, while being curious and motivated to develop alongside new challenges.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement for the position.

Since several of our assignments are subject to defense secrecy, you must undergo and pass a security clearance with a background check.

Business travel may occur.
