About the role and your tasks

Your work is guided by the individuals' needs. As resource staff, you work where the need is greatest, creating security, warmth, and care for people who really need it.

We are now seeking assistant nurses for permanent employment. We offer everyone to work full-time, which means 36 hours and 20 minutes per week. Everyone works every other weekend. If you work day shifts, the working hours are 07:00 to 15:00. For those working evening shifts, the hours are from 14:45 to 22:45.

  • are experienced with cycling and, in some areas, hold a driver's license (required for home care work).
  • have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • have good digital competence, for example, in connection with documentation.

You are responsible, engaged, flexible, and attentive – towards users, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is for every individual to be involved and have influence over their daily life.

About the workplace

Home Care Torn has its fine new premises in northern Lund, at Traktorvägen. The home care area is the municipality's largest, so bicycles, e-bikes, and cars are used to reach the users. We work a lot with health and job satisfaction to ensure everyone feels good. By working together, the combined competence from our different roles can lead to better results in our work.

Lund Municipality's home care is divided into several geographical areas. In each area, assistant nurses and care assistants work in teams with health and medical personnel under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area has a unit administrator and coordinator/planner. We offer service, nursing, and home health care services 24/7 to the municipality's users. Follow us on Instagram; @hemvardochhalsa.
