About the Pharmacy Technician role at Hjärtat

As a pharmacy technician at Hjärtat, you will work with a mix of sales, professional counseling, and cashier duties within the self-care sector. In this role, you contribute your competence, engagement, and experience to improve our customers' health and the pharmacy's success. The position is full-time or as agreed.

At Apotek Hjärtat, located at Knut den stores torg in Lund, we have a team of five pharmacists and three pharmacy technicians. In a highly competitive market, we have been a winning team in Lund. The pharmacy is centrally located opposite Sweden's third-largest railway station (by number of daily passengers). We have a high customer flow and a diverse customer base. Our sales manager is moving on to new challenges within Apotek Hjärtat. For this reason, we are looking for her replacement. The position is a permanent full-time role. A probationary period may apply.

We are open 09:00–19:00 on weekdays and 10:00–15:00 on Saturdays.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for a qualified pharmacy technician with a focus on sales. You may be at the beginning of your career or more experienced. The sales manager's assignment is to drive the sales of merchandise and over-the-counter medicines and to coach employees in accordance with Apotek Hjärtat's customer meeting standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Takes appropriate measures to achieve set goals at the pharmacy.
  • Optimizes Apotek Hjärtat's campaigns and sales activities in consultation with the regional sales coach and pharmacy manager, ensuring that planograms are followed and updated according to instructions.
  • Develops working methods, in consultation with the responsible pharmacist, to achieve optimal customer service and increased sales in the prescription channel.
  • Responsible for mechanical sales, e.g., signage, price tagging, and product displays.
  • Serves as a good role model in customer interactions and promotes everyday knowledge to improve the customer experience and increase sales.
  • Coaches employees to continuously improve customer service, counseling, sales, and efficiency at the pharmacy.
