Make a difference. Every day.
The Adult Psychiatry Lund area is divided into four units focusing on general psychiatric inpatient care, general psychiatric outpatient care, addiction/psychosis, and nationally specialized care. We consist of approximately 550 employees who continuously work to develop care content and strengthen user collaboration.
Adult Psychiatry Department 6 is located in the Psychiatry House on Baravägen. Here, the entire care chain is gathered, facilitating collaboration. The department is a general psychiatric unit with an open door policy for patients who can adhere to this and do not require increased supervision. We currently have 16 care beds and collaborate closely with the unit for Advanced Psychiatry at Home (APIH). The team consists of a unit manager, consultant psychiatrist, social worker, peer support worker, nurses, registered nurses, and secretaries.
We value our patients and consider user influence a central part of our work. Therefore, we have a full-time peer support worker as an important part of the team. We continuously develop our operations in close collaboration with user organizations and actively work to maintain a good working environment characterized by collaboration, strong team spirit, and good treatment.
