Adult Psychiatry Lund is divided into four areas focusing on general psychiatric inpatient care, general psychiatric outpatient care, addiction/psychosis, and nationally specialized care. We consist of approximately 550 employees who continuously work to develop the content of care and strengthen user collaboration.

Adult Psychiatry Department 6 is located in the Psychiatry House on Baravägen. Here, the entire care chain is gathered, facilitating collaboration. Department 6 is a general psychiatric ward with an open door policy. Patients treated here are cared for according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), must be able to relate to the open door policy, and do not require increased supervision. The department currently has 16 care beds. We collaborate closely with other units in the building, especially with the newly started unit for Advanced Psychiatry at Home (APIH).

The department employs a unit manager, chief physician, counselor, peer support worker, nurse assistants, registered nurses, and secretaries. We care deeply for our patients and believe that user influence is a central part of the unit's work. Therefore, we have a full-time peer support worker as an important part of the team. We actively work to maintain a good working environment where collaboration, strong team spirit, and good treatment are obvious starting points.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are pleased to welcome a Registered Nurse, preferably with a specialist education in psychiatry, to our team.

• The nurse is the team leader during their shift and is responsible for medication management and specific psychiatric nursing care.
• You will plan and implement nursing interventions, participate in treatment, and contribute to ward rounds.
• The position also includes certain medical technical tasks.
• The position is for night shifts only, with the reduced working hours applicable within the region for night duty.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you if you are a licensed registered nurse, preferably with a specialist education in psychiatric nursing, and authorized to work within Swedish health and medical care.

• Language skills: Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement.
• Experience: Previous experience of working in psychiatry is an asset, but we also welcome newly graduated nurses with an interest in our target group.
• Personality: You need to be able to maintain calm and prioritize your tasks, even during more intense periods. You value interdisciplinary collaboration and have a professional approach towards colleagues and other professional groups.
