About Us

Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Proximity Care, together with the Ambulance Service, Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Primary care is organized into 4 proximity care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance care have been integrated under "good and close care." Each proximity care area is an economic unit led by a unit manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice service, youth clinic, and the proximity care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

At our health center, we work in teams with a patient-centered approach for our registered patients. Health Center Torvalla is located in Torvalla center and is staffed with assistant nurses, district nurses, specialists in general medicine, social workers, psychologists, and medical secretaries. We have a Family Center with a child health care center (BVC) and a maternal and child health center (MVC) in the same building. Physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and occupational therapists are also available at the health center, as well as an affiliated dietitian.

Job Responsibilities

Standard tasks for a district nurse/nurse at a health center. Main responsibilities include telephone advice, acute visits, reception visits, and home visits. Collaboration with the municipality's home care and nursing homes (SÄBO) is part of the role.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified nurse or district nurse, preferably with experience in primary care and reception work. Additional competencies are an asset. You should be outgoing, flexible, structured, and experienced in treating patients with different needs. You must be able to work both independently and in a group/team setting.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
