Job Responsibilities

As a care assistant with us at Treklövern, you will be part of a competent workgroup consisting of both nursing assistants and care assistants. You will work to provide care and social support to our residents and users who need help to manage their daily lives. Our work is based on the individual's needs and wishes, where dialogue and collaboration are important tools to achieve high-quality care and support. By working with us, you contribute to creating an environment for the individual characterized by community, togetherness, participation, and activity.

As a care assistant, you provide care and social support based on a salutogenic approach. The job responsibilities include helping people with, for example: hygiene, dressing, and cleaning, as well as supporting during meals. Tasks delegated by licensed health and medical personnel may also occur. Collaboration is a very important part of your workday, and you work together with your closest colleagues and health and medical personnel for the individual. Your responsibilities also include documentation and contact with relatives.

Qualifications

Completed upper secondary education, as communication and documentation are important parts of the job, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience in elderly care and/or healthcare is an advantage.

Bergs Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of the Southern Sámi language and culture.

Personal Qualities

To fit into the role of a care assistant with us, you need to be good at communicating and have a constructive, empathetic approach. You enjoy working together in a group but are also confident in your role to work independently. Furthermore, we appreciate that you are engaged and involved in developing our operations. We would like you to be creative and take the initiative for activities for the residents. We place great importance on personal suitability based on these qualities.
