Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us at Treklövern, you will be part of a competent workgroup consisting of both nursing assistants and caregivers. You will provide care and social support to our residents and users who need help to manage their daily lives. Our work is based on the individual's needs and wishes, where dialogue and collaboration are important tools to achieve high-quality care and support. By working with us, you contribute to creating an environment for the individual characterized by community, companionship, participation, and activity.

As a nursing assistant, you provide care and social support based on a salutogenic approach. Your tasks will include helping people with hygiene, dressing, cleaning, and supporting during meals. Tasks delegated by licensed health care professionals may also occur. Collaboration is a very important part of your daily work, and you will work together with your closest colleagues and health care professionals for the individual. Your tasks will also include documentation and contact with relatives.

Qualifications

A completed nursing assistant education is required, as well as a certificate for protected professional title. Since communication and documentation are important parts of the job, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience in elderly care and/or healthcare is an advantage.

Bergs Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we see it as an advantage if you have knowledge of the South Sámi language and culture.

Personal Qualities

To fit in the role of nursing assistant with us, you need to be good at communicating and have a constructive, empathetic approach. You enjoy working together in a group but are also confident in your role to work independently. Furthermore, we would like you to be engaged and involved in developing our operations.
