Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care, together with Ambulance, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth clinic, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

Bräcke Health Center is a well-functioning health center with a stable permanent staff group. We work with a strong team spirit. Our team includes medical secretaries, doctors, district nurses, nursing assistants, midwives, psychologists, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, and physiotherapists. What distinguishes Bräcke Health Center from urban health centers is that we handle everything; people who would normally have sought emergency care if they lived in a city come to us. This makes the work very varied, providing a good mix of traditional health center work and more acute cases.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as a district nurse/nurse at Bräcke Health Center involves traditionally occurring tasks at a health center, such as outpatient work, telephone advice, and teamwork with doctors and other staff. The work is also very varied, and acute tasks may occur. Depending on your educational background and interests, there may also be opportunities for a specialist area. This could be a coordination role for close care, diabetes, children, or asthma/COPD nursing.

There is the possibility to be based in Gällö, Bräcke, or Kälarne if you are interested in the coordination role for close care. Based on the assignment, you have great flexibility in planning your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed nurse or further education to district nurse or in elderly care.

You have a genuine interest in people and focus on the patient. We expect you to contribute your expertise and a good attitude together with your colleagues to provide the best possible care for patients. You thrive in your professional role, are engaged, and contribute to a good work climate as you have initiative and a sense of responsibility. Experience in similar tasks is an advantage.
