As a Buyer, you will be part of our Purchasing Department, which consists of 12 people. You will be part of a team that, in addition to Buyers, includes Product Developers and NG Partners. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other departments at NilsonGroup to ensure an efficient and smooth purchasing process.
Your Responsibilities
In your role as a Buyer, you will be responsible for assortment planning, collection building, purchasing, and sales of a commercial assortment in accordance with the guidelines established in the purchasing budget. You will ensure price level, volume, and margin calculations so that set targets regarding profitability are achieved. You will plan collections through a clear assortment structure based on concept, target group, and product role.
You will work in a team together with product developers and other buyers in the department to develop new collections and initiatives for each new season. You will drive and ensure that you achieve the set targets for the collection.
Your responsibilities will include, among others:
Ensure that the collection achieves established targets for key figures regarding purchasing, sales, and inventory.
Ensure that the collection is well-composed regarding fashion degree (product role), look, quality, price, and volume per product.
Plan the content of each product group based on a well-thought-out sales pattern and the various conditions in the purchasing budget.
Participate in the work with the construction plan and ensure volume per construction.
Price negotiation and complaint handling for external suppliers.
About You
We are looking for you with experience of purchasing work in a commercial retail company in the fashion industry; it is an asset if it is specifically within the shoe industry. We see that you have a commercial orientation towards broad fashion. You also have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We are looking for someone who is analytical, with the ability to tackle complicated issues by evaluating collected and organized information. You are results-driven and used to working towards set goals. You are good at planning and organizing, utilizing time efficiently, and planning well in advance to take possible changes into account. You are also good at creating good relationships and networks with customers and staff. You build extensive and effective networks within and outside the organization.
Information about the Position
Position: Buyer to our headquarters in Varberg
Scope: Full-time 40 hours/week. The position is a permanent employment starting with a probationary period.
