The security industry is hot and will continue to be so in the foreseeable future. Swedlock is a fully Swedish provider of digitization and security. We strive to be at the forefront through technological development and innovation. We help key-intensive businesses simplify key management, streamline operations, and enhance security. We have developed a digital locking system that is unique in terms of functionality, security, and user-friendliness. There are billions of mechanical locks worldwide waiting to be digitized. Swedlock is already number one in Sweden in home care and waste management and has gained significant market shares in critical infrastructure and property management in recent years.
As one of the safest digital locking systems on the market, Swedlock meets tough requirements from the Swedish Security Association (SSF) regarding connected products and components that are part of a digital locking system. We are proud of this because security, accessibility, and efficiency are key principles for us who work with businesses in essential community services and critical infrastructure.
About the role Since 2016, Swedlock has gone from challenger to market leader in home care, emergency services, and waste management. In recent years, we have also gained significant market shares in critical infrastructure and property management. We have complemented our direct business model with indirect sales through resellers and installers.
Our digital locking system is a long-term solution that our customers, resellers, and installers can work with and develop together for many years. Therefore, our ongoing management, support, and further development of relationships with our existing customers is one of Swedlock's most important responsibilities. This responsibility rests on our Aftermarket Department, which encompasses the commercial and technical customer responsibility, including technical support and service, system support, training, and order management.
As a natural next step in this development, we are now establishing the role of Customer Manager. This role is new at Swedlock and entails overall responsibility for connecting and further developing our proactive and reactive activities towards end customers and installers. The assignment includes, among other things, taking over new customers after installation, coordinating and following up on training initiatives for customers, actively developing existing customer relationships through new or complementary offerings, and leading quarterly follow-up meetings with larger customers.
If necessary, the Customer Manager can also take on the role of project manager to gather and coordinate Swedlock's resources across organizational boundaries. Close collaboration with the sales organization is an obvious and important part of the assignment.
The role requires sensitivity to customer needs, combined with structure, precision, and the ability to coordinate and gather the right resources at the right time. To succeed in the role, you need to gradually build a good understanding of Swedlock's solutions and develop strong product knowledge.
Your profile We believe you are in the security industry or a related field and have experience in a similar role. You can navigate customer organizations and have experience meeting professional customers and resellers. The role will challenge your social, commercial, and technical skills. You are driven and self-sufficient, act commercially but are also a valued team player. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement. You likely have experience with tendering processes.
You will always have knowledgeable colleagues, development resources, and a strong aftermarket organization to support you. The role also includes representing the company at trade fairs and activities together with the sales and marketing organization to create new contacts and opportunities. The position is full-time based in Halmstad, and you will report to the Aftermarket Manager.
What Swedlock offers you We offer a stimulating job in an exciting industry and in a company that has very strong growth. You will be part of a wonderful team with a lot of experience that works selflessly and closely together and has a good sense of humor. The work involves great freedom under your own responsibility. We have short decision-making paths, and you will be an important part of our continued expansion.
For further information about the position, please contact Ulf Kullman at 0730-63 90 54 or [email protected]. The application deadline is April 21, but as we are conducting ongoing selection, we welcome your application as soon as possible. We look forward to your application!
