In collaboration with Region Halland, we can now offer unique job opportunities as Team Leader for Falkenberg Nature Wardens. Falkenberg is a major tourist town that blooms especially during the summer, and as a Team Leader, you can contribute to helping tourists and residents care for our fantastic nature in a sustainable way.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your workdays will be spent primarily outdoors together with our young Nature Wardens. For example, by hiking our trails to ensure they are kept clean and tidy, and helping our hikers, cyclists, and tourists with any questions or concerns they may have.
You will support, guide, and inspire the Nature Wardens to become the best at taking care of our residents, tourists, and guests for a more sustainable Falkenberg. You will get to participate in specific nature conservation efforts, such as building and installing birdhouses, repairing boardwalks, and perhaps you have some great ideas on how we can engage and inspire!
As a youth nature conservation worker at the Department of Culture, Leisure, and Technology, your responsibilities include:
- Supervise 3 high school students working as nature conservation tourist wardens.
- Be a role model, inspire, and engage the Nature Wardens.
- Act as walking tourist information officers, helping tourists and providing excellent hospitality.
- Inspect trails to ensure they are clean and tidy.
- Perform various nature conservation activities.
- Hike our beaches to assist where needed and ensure they are kept clean and tidy.
- Visit our inland bathing spots – manage litter and perform daily inspections.
- Visit our Disc Golf course – cleaning and maintenance.
During the introduction week, you will receive a training package including Hospitality Training, Sustainability Training, First Aid, and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). You will also receive a clothing package upon starting work.
You will work full-time, Monday - Friday between 07:00 - 16:00 during weeks 26-32.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is interested in the environment and nature. As a person, you should be responsible, easy to collaborate with, and possess leadership qualities. A B-class driver's license and the ability to communicate in Swedish and English are requirements.
We prefer that you have leadership experience and have completed a leadership training course, but this is not a requirement. It is also an asset if you have completed a nature conservation or environmental education and can speak multiple languages.
