We are looking for someone who wants to make a real difference in another person's life.

A woman in Umeå is currently seeking a personal assistant. She has a physical and some cognitive impairment that requires support in her daily life. The position is currently during the day, but night shifts may become available soon.

About the assignment

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in the woman's daily life. She leads an active life when her condition allows, and you will be there to create security, continuity, and the conditions for her to live a rich and independent life. Since she sometimes experiences brain fatigue, it is important that you can adapt to her daily form.

You also need to be aware that she is very sensitive to strong odors and has a nut allergy – taking this into account is crucial in your role.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is calm, patient, and attentive
• Is engaged and wants to contribute to another person having the best possible quality of life
• Has the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others

Previous experience in personal assistance or healthcare/care is an asset, but your personality and attitude are the most important things.

Scope

The position is initially during the day. Night shifts may be added soon.
