About the Position

The Swedish Armed Forces' Technology and Maintenance Command Logistics (TVK Log) is seeking a Functional Representative for Operations Management to join the Administration Section. We are in the midst of an exciting journey of growth and expansion. We are therefore looking for reinforcement to help us optimize and coordinate the Armed Forces' material supply. About the Unit

TVK Log is a central actor within the Armed Forces' logistics leadership. We are responsible for ensuring that supplies and material are available and meet the needs of combat units – in peace, crisis, and war. This also means that we create the conditions required for the Armed Forces' sustainability, in areas such as fuel, food, and ammunition.

The unit consists of approximately 120 employees with broad competence in technology, logistics, and management. TVK Log consists mainly of civilian personnel with an even distribution between women and men. The leadership is located in Boden, but we are represented in several locations across the country. Our work is based on trust, collaboration, and a clear mission – to enable available combat units through the right material at the right time.

Main Duties

The Administration Section manages governing documents and routines, specifies requirements for IT services and training, and follows up on operations with reporting responsibility to the Defense Staff's support department.

In the role of Functional Representative, you will work with central supply reporting. The main duties include leading various projects and working groups, conducting follow-ups on supply reporting, exercising functional responsibility, and participating in the specification of training requirements within the assigned area of responsibility. You will draft documents, operational regulations, and directives, as well as develop process flows and routines.

Qualifications

  • University or college degree within the field of operations or equivalent competence acquired in other ways deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Class B driver's license.

Personal Attributes

As a person, you have excellent collaboration skills while being able to work independently. You are development-oriented, proactive, and take your own initiatives. The position requires good analytical skills and a well-developed ability to see the big picture. You are communicative and pedagogical and are skilled at expressing yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. You will have significant personal responsibility for solving assigned tasks, which requires the ability to prioritize and work in a structured manner. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Other Information

The employment is a permanent civilian full-time position. A six-month probationary period applies to those who are not already permanently employed within the Armed Forces.

Work location: Boden

Business travel is required.

Start date: ASAP or by agreement.
