Do you want to work close to production and be a central part of developing modern and sustainable maintenance operations? Do you thrive in a role where you combine planning, technical problem-solving, and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders? Then this might be the right challenge for you.

About the Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with a mechanical background who wants to work long-term to ensure high operational reliability of machines, equipment, and facilities. You will become part of a competent maintenance function and work closely with production technicians and other experienced maintenance mechanics.

Here, you will have the opportunity to work broadly within maintenance planning and service coordination, as well as the development of routines and systems – while also working hands-on in daily operations when required. This role suits you if you want to contribute structure to operations and develop in your work. You will work in an environment where technology and continuous improvement are the focus.

Your Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing activities related to the maintenance of the company's production equipment. You will work both operationally and strategically to ensure stable, safe, and available production. In close collaboration with production and technical teams, you will drive improvement initiatives, develop maintenance plans, and ensure a well-functioning maintenance flow.

You will work on creating instructions, structuring maintenance registers, booking services and inspections, and managing contact with suppliers. The role also involves participating in troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of new equipment.

Examples of Responsibilities:

  • Plan and follow up on service and maintenance activities for machines and facilities
  • Develop and maintain maintenance plans, instructions, and maintenance systems
  • Ensure good availability of spare parts and order in maintenance registers
  • Coordinate external suppliers and service partners
  • Participate in troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning of equipment

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone with a technical education at university or university college level, or equivalent work experience. You have experience in industrial maintenance and are confident working with both planning and practical technical issues.

As a person, you are curious, driven, and solution-oriented, with a clear willingness to contribute to development and improvement work. You work in a structured manner and create order even when facing complex or changing situations. Your communication skills enable you to easily collaborate with operators, technicians, and external suppliers, and you enjoy taking responsibility and driving issues to completion. You are confident in combining operational work with planning and administration and appreciate a role where you get to be close to both the equipment and the operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience with maintenance systems (Iffecto, SAP, or equivalent)
  • Understanding of industrial processes
  • Good knowledge of the Office package
  • Good Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Class B driver's license

The position involves work covered by defense secrecy; therefore, we require Swedish citizenship. A security clearance and health check will be conducted prior to employment.
