Your Role

Your formal role will be PoC (Point of Contact), which means you will be the section's contact person for various types of inquiries that come into the section. This may involve questions from production or purchasing regarding quality, requirements, materials, fault investigations, etc. These inquiries are handled, registered, and distributed among the employees in the section, and your task is to allocate and follow up. You will work closely with another PoC and the section manager.

Alongside the PoC role, you will also handle the same types of inquiries as the rest of the section, which involves work with the design, development, and management of our 84 mm grenades. You will follow products through the entire chain, from idea to finished product where product care becomes part of the tasks. You will, among other things, conduct verification and qualification tests in both laboratory and field environments, making your work varied. Documentation, requirement writing, and compliance are also important tasks you will work on. The work is characterized by our responsibility for our commitments, which also gives the freedom to plan your own work. Your own interests can also guide the direction of the role.

We will build your competence regarding detonators (safety and initiation systems) in the long term, as we cannot expect prior knowledge in the area. The detonator is the part of our products that ensures initiation of effect if all arming conditions are met. Thus, it is a very important component for the safety and reliability of our products. The work requires precision and accountability for both safety during work and delivery of committed tasks.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is proactive and outgoing and who finds it easy to communicate and collaborate. We believe you are a civil engineer or a university engineer with a focus on mechanical engineering, technical physics, or have an education/experience deemed relevant. You have experience in construction using some 3D tool. Experience in design and/or systems engineering work, as well as work in customer service or sales, is advantageous. You have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
