We are looking for a production engineer for a long-term consulting assignment at an industrial company in Skövde starting in January. The work takes place on-site in the foundry, and you will be part of the production engineering team.

As a production engineer, you will work closely with production and contribute to developing and optimizing processes in daily operations. You will collaborate with colleagues in engineering, maintenance, operational reliability, operators, and leaders to ensure stable and efficient flows.

The work includes, among other things:

• developing and documenting work instructions and standardized work routines
• designing manual workstations and site layout for better ergonomics and flow
• conducting measurements and analyzing machine data to find correlations and improvement potential
• participating in production and automation projects of varying scope

The role involves both ongoing production engineering improvement work and participation in projects. You will manage daily operations and drive improvements together with production.

You have an engineering degree, preferably with a focus on machinery or production, and experience from manufacturing or process-oriented industry. Experience from foundry is an advantage.
