Your role as a Nurse Assistant, Care Assistant, or Assistant with us

In your work, you will meet people with different needs in their homes, making every day both meaningful and varied. You will become part of an engaged and professional work team where collaboration is key – both with colleagues and with other professional groups such as rehabilitation, nurses, and home healthcare.

We actively work to clarify the role of nurse assistants within elderly care. Therefore, cleaning tasks, such as cleaning tenants' apartments, are not included in this role. This gives you the opportunity to focus on the core of care – creating security, providing support, and contributing to quality in every encounter.

We offer a position on weekdays and every other weekend, where you will work according to a schedule covering days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Your profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your approach and attentive to your surroundings. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current working relationships. You take responsibility, drive your work forward, deliver results, and prioritize your work efficiently. We are looking for you who:

• are at least 18 years old
• express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work

Our offer and other information

We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Care & Welfare, all employees in home care and care/residential facilities are employed at 100% employment rate, but employees have the opportunity to reduce to a desired employment rate based on the needs of the operation. The schedule includes shifts during the day, evening, and every other weekend.

Before an employment offer is made, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record register must be presented. The type of register extract to be requested is Work at home with elderly and persons with disabilities. Work at home with elderly and persons with disabilities, e-service | Swedish Police Authority

Background checks may be carried out before employment.

From July 1, 2023, nurse assistant is a protected job title.
