Main tasks and responsibilities

Skultorp is the small clinic with a good clinic spirit.

Here, a wonderful group of colleagues of mixed ages, cultures, and personalities work together. The clinic has a diverse patient clientele.

Folktandvården Skultorp is located in the southern part of Skövde and has 6 treatment rooms. Here, 4 dentists, 1 dental hygienist, and 7 dental nurses work.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Handling reception work and database-based administrative programs
• Working with FRAMM, outreach activities, prophylaxis, and managing your own patients are also common tasks.
• Participating in our development program where we strive to work with task rotation to ensure our staff develops and that we can efficiently receive our patients.

We are a VFU clinic and accept students from the dental and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervising/assisting students may also be part of the job.

Qualifications and profile

• Trained dental nurse with an education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a sensitive manner
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 16 and 17.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
