We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a positive attitude

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Lysekil, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize all your skills while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service.

The position includes, among other things:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylactic treatments, onboarding, oral health advice, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in the sterilization area and reception

The position offers a flexible working degree of 50–75% during the first two years, with the possibility of 100% employment thereafter. For those who wish to work 100% from the start, this will also involve work at other nearby clinics in the area, based on the needs of the organization.

Qualifications and profile

• Qualified dental nurse with education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to maintain a stable and calm demeanor even when busy
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
• Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 17.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
