Our client is a contracting and infrastructure company with strong growth, good profitability, and a clear ambition to challenge the traditional ways of working in the industry. They operate within the construction and building sector and drive projects with a focus on quality, sustainability, and business acumen.

As a Construction Engineer, you will be a key person in the projects and work closely with the site manager and project management. The role is broad, varied, and gives you the opportunity to influence both project outcomes and working methods. You will join a company where initiative is encouraged and where you have great opportunities to shape your own role over time.

The projects are mainly located in southern Skåne. Here you will work closely with the business and be part of a team characterized by collaboration, drive, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, plan, and lead construction meetings together with the project organization
• Be responsible for managing and following up on additional works and financial documentation
• Support the site manager in client dialogues, including handling compensation claims
• Collaborate with the surveyor and site manager to develop quantity lists
• Participate in the startup and preparation of new projects
• Actively work with quality, environment, and work environment issues
• Contribute to structure, follow-up, and business acumen in the projects

• Has a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction or civil engineering)
• Has at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within contracting, construction, or civil engineering
• Has a good understanding of the business, economics, and procurement processes of projects
• Is analytical and has the ability to understand complex information and make well-founded decisions
• Thrives in a role where you work both independently and closely with others in the project team
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and has good knowledge of English

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that you will eventually be employed directly by the client.
