JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer a varied and exciting position within the VA field with great opportunities to manage your own work, a good team with friendly colleagues where everyone is an important part, significant development and training opportunities, and a good balance between work and leisure!

As a VA engineer, you will be responsible for both short- and long-term planning of expansion and maintenance work on our facilities and act as a link between the client and the contractor. The position includes working strategically with operation/maintenance and renewal planning and conducting necessary VA investigations internally or through hired consultants.

The investigations can range from simpler tasks to larger investigations concerning the overall future of our VA operations. The investigations encompass both technical, economic, and legal aspects.

You will also participate in the group that prepares tender documents for contract procurements and consultant procurements.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have an education as a civil or university engineer in road and water construction, or equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent. Alternatively, a combination of other post-secondary education in the field and substantial experience in VA and conducting VA investigations regarding the pipeline network may be assessed to meet the requirement for education and experience. A B driver's license is a requirement. Knowledge and ability to draw in AutoCAD is an advantage.

The position requires good technical knowledge in the VA field with a focus on VA facilities, as well as good ability to collaborate both internally and externally.
