We are now seeking a BIM Coordinator on behalf of our client. You will become part of an architectural firm that works on designing sustainable buildings and urban environments, from early stages to completed design. As a BIM Coordinator, you are responsible for structuring, coordinating, and quality-assuring the project's models. You compile the client's requirements and ensure that the right information is included in the models before delivery. You develop and follow a BIM coordination plan, coordinate different disciplines and software, and check that the models meet a common standard and are free from collisions.

Furthermore, you lead BIM meetings where you review documents and plan the execution by distributing responsibilities and ensuring what needs to be delivered and how. The role also involves coordinating the work between project managers, architects, and others involved in the assignment. Your main focus in the role is BIM coordination, but some time is also allocated to support the design assignments. This means you actively assist project managers and project teams in their daily work.

• Has a Master's degree in construction with a focus on architecture or BIM, or other post-secondary education combined with at least 1 year of experience.
• Has experience with similar processes and an understanding of how design works.
• Has good knowledge of both Swedish and English as both languages are used in internal and external contacts.

It is not necessary, but advantageous if you have:

• Experience from construction-related roles, such as contracting, HVAC, or construction projects.

Our client operates in architecture and runs one of Sweden's larger architectural firms, with around 150–170 employees. They work broadly with projects in housing, urban development, commercial properties, and public environments, and are involved throughout the process, from idea and design to completed design. The business is characterized by a strong focus on sustainability, quality, and long-term solutions in the built environment.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client and our side is that you will eventually be directly employed by the client.
