Site Manager for exciting construction projects – become part of a strong team!

We at Prowork are now looking for an engaged and results-oriented Site Manager who wants to take the next step in their career and work on varied and developing projects.

About the role

As a site manager, you will have a central position in the execution of projects. You are responsible for leading the daily work, ensuring that the project follows the schedule and quality requirements, and that the work environment and safety are always prioritized.

Our client conducts earthworks and civil engineering contracts both in-house and in execution and total contracts with municipalities, associations, and companies in Malmö and surrounding municipalities.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and distribute work within the project
• Ensure that production follows the schedule, budget, and quality requirements
• Act as a coordinating link between different stakeholders in the project
• Support the site manager throughout the project's lifecycle

Job tasks

• Participate in risk assessments and develop action plans
• Contribute to the development of work environment and environmental plans
• Participate in bid reviews and scheduling
• Plan resources and manage permits
• Lead daily production
• Conduct safety inspections and safety rounds
• Follow up on schedules and manage deviations
• Report incidents and near misses
• Be responsible for purchases and orders
• Participate in construction meetings and communicate with clients
• Ensure that all requirements are met before handover
• Compile documentation for final inspection

We are looking for you who:

• Have at least 2 years of experience as a site manager or in a similar role within civil engineering
• Have worked with the public sector
• Have knowledge of AMA, MER, and AB04/ABT06
• Have basic knowledge of contract law
• Are well-versed in construction processes and work environment regulations
• Have good computer skills
• Have a valid driver's license (B)
