Timber Buyer at Stenvalls Trä

About the Role

Your geographical purchasing area will be Älvsbyn, and as a timber buyer, you will be responsible for your own area and actively work to create business with private forest owners. The role suits you who want to be an important cog in our raw material organization, who enjoys being out in the forest, and appreciates the opportunity to influence your day-to-day work, which will include:

• Buying timber
• Creating and developing long-term relationships with landowners
• Independently planning and driving your work forward
• Planning logging and further transport together with the team

You will receive a structured introduction, a mentor, and a gradual handover of your area.

About You

We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the forest and likes business. You are:

• Business-driven, results-oriented, and confident in negotiations
• Relationship-building but clear in business
• Responsible, structured, and comfortable working towards goals

We prefer that you have a forestry education or equivalent experience, good administrative skills, and a B driver's license. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
