JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a procurement officer, you have a central and strategic role where you work closely with both the municipality's management and our operations to implement long-term and sustainable purchases. You collaborate with colleagues throughout the municipality and its companies, where your tasks include formulating requirements, preparing procurement documents, engaging in dialogues with suppliers, and conducting contract follow-ups.
This is a responsible and engaging role where you drive projects and processes forward in an agile, trust-based, and efficient manner in close collaboration with operations, suppliers, and citizens. You tailor the procurement process according to needs, conduct needs and market analyses, use legislation to create good business deals, manage the formal parts of the procurement, and implement and follow up on contracts. You do all this with the support of knowledgeable colleagues who are experts in law, procurement procedures, financial follow-up, and purchasing analyses. In our department, we work closely together and support each other.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- has a university or college degree. Alternatively, you have other education combined with relevant work experience for the position
- has several years of relevant experience from work as a procurement officer, buyer, manager, project leader, business developer, coordinator, or similar
- has a knack for administrative tasks
- is an experienced user of the Office suite
- has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have:
- experience in participating in procurements
- experience in identifying needs and formulating requirements
- knowledge of LOU (Public Procurement Act)
Your personal competencies are important to us. To succeed in the role, you need to be structured and enjoy working according to a clear process. You are good at organizing and planning your work, meeting deadlines, and completing what you have started. Since procurement is about teamwork, a key to success in the profession is your ability to collaborate effectively. You are able to express your opinions clearly, be listened to, and earn the respect of others. Our procurements interest many different parties, so you need to be a stable person who can handle various situations constructively.
