Within the Health and Care Administration, we have full-time as the norm. This means that all permanent employees fundamentally have a full-time position. Our workplace is located in the heart of Uppsala in the new city hall. Here, you will work in bright and fresh premises and choose your workspace based on the tasks you need to perform. Your assignment

As an investigator in the area of welfare crimes, you will belong to the Support and Control unit and will work closely with managers within the authority and other functions within the department. You will drive the development of the authority's working methods with responsibility for developing routines, analyses, and materials that contribute to reducing the risk of overuse of the welfare system.

Your tasks include:

  • Reviewing cases where there is suspicion of overuse of the welfare system
  • Collaborating internally and externally in the area of welfare crimes
  • Contributing to knowledge development through environmental monitoring and participating in relevant networks and forums within the area of welfare crimes
  • Identifying risks, producing analyses, and materials for legally secure decisions
  • Developing, coordinating, and improving routines and processes in close collaboration with managers and other functions within the authority
  • Monitoring the authority's financial processes to ensure that the correct compensation is paid to external suppliers
  • Supporting managers in authority-related matters, such as police reports, reports to IVO, and disputes over invoices

You will be based at the city hall and have the opportunity to work from home a few days a week.

Your background

We are looking for someone with knowledge of authorities and a clear analytical ability. The role suits you if you want to combine qualified investigative work with strategic development.

Requirements:

  • Degree in social work or law combined with knowledge of LSS legislation
  • Experience working in a politically governed organization
  • Documented experience of qualified investigative and development work
  • Experience working with welfare crimes within an authority
  • Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
  • Experience in strategic work and developing routines and processes

Meritorious:

  • Experience in developing an authority's strategic work against welfare crimes

You take initiative, start activities, and drive work towards clear results. Furthermore, you are outgoing and build and maintain professional relationships. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively with the ability to meet deadlines. You easily see opportunities in new ideas and working methods and actively contribute to change and development. Last but not least, you drive change work in a secure manner and base your decisions on a well-founded professional conviction.
