There are a total of five workgroups during the day and evening, working geographically across the entire municipality, including a home support team focused on dementia/psychiatry. Under the same roof, we also have a night patrol, and in adjacent premises, there is the municipality's Home Healthcare. The Home Care Service in Vadstena municipality has two staffing coordinators who manage daily client planning, personnel staffing, and administration. Additionally, there is a staffing planner and a digital nursing assistant. There are also two unit managers who share responsibility and are present daily in the operation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working in home care means that you perform services within several different legal frameworks; we provide services under both SoL and HSL in the client's own home. This means you provide good care and service to the care recipient with high quality. Regardless of the legal framework, our work focuses on the individual and is based on their wishes and needs. We do this by adhering to the national value base, working with a fixed care contact, and through good and close collaboration within the municipality with, for example, nurses and case managers.

A rehabilitative approach where you motivate and stimulate the individual is essential for working here with us.

Documentation is part of the assignment, and it is important that information is passed on, which means you need to have computer skills and be able to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish. The employment includes acquiring and maintaining an HSL delegation according to the Health and Medical Services Act to perform services related to this legal framework.

Vadstena municipality has been on a full-time journey for several years now - Full-time as the norm. This means that the organization offers all employees full-time positions. The organization plans to allocate resource time for its employees as needed, which may involve working in another workgroup. The employment means that you will be scheduled with rotating days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and hold a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare. It is an advantage if you can demonstrate at least one year of documented experience in care and support. Employment with us requires that you have a good attitude, are flexible and responsible, and have good empathetic skills towards both colleagues and clients. We place great value on good collaboration skills, a positive outlook, and commitment to both clients and coworkers. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form as documentation and communication are a significant part of the work.

You are involved in taking responsibility for the development of the workgroup and have the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions. You can independently prioritize tasks and remain calm even in stressful situations.

A valid driver's license and the ability to ride a bike are required, as we travel by car in rural areas and by bike in the city center.

Before employment can occur, a criminal record extract for work in the home with the elderly and persons with disabilities must be presented.
