About the job as a pharmacist at Hjärtat

As a pharmacist at the E-pharmacy, you won't wear a lab coat, have traditional customer meetings, and you'll have the opportunity to focus a bit more on pharmacy. Our pharmacists work to dispense and complete e-commerce orders in a different pharmacy environment with full focus on pharmacy.

In our specially designed IT system, orders are managed from order placement through pharmaceutical completion to picking and packing. In our case management, we handle orders where an incoming item needs further investigation. Our customer interactions occur via phone and email, unlike a regular physical pharmacy.

In our E-pharmacy, our customers can order their prescription medications and purchase over-the-counter medications and goods from our entire range. This is what a typical day looks like for a pharmacist at the E-pharmacy!

As a pharmacist at the E-pharmacy, there are three stations that everyone on the team takes turns working at. The first is called regulatory and pharmacological control, where we pick up customer orders after they are placed on the website and review the customer's complete medication list. Here we look at doses and interactions, for example. The technical control is performed by E-pharmacists who do picking control, check the medication's shelf life in relation to the usage time, label the packages with dosing labels, and send the order on to packing. There, the order is packed in final packaging for the customer.

For orders that encounter any type of problem, there is a station we call manual handling. Here, E-pharmacists investigate the order and assist the customer with exchanges if an item is out of stock. E-pharmacists also contact prescribers if there is anything that needs to be clarified regarding the customer's dosage. Since we do not have the customer physically in front of us, there is often a bit of extra time to focus on the pharmaceutical aspects in all parts of the process.

Who are we working at the E-Pharmacy?

The pharmacy department consists of about forty pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. We are a close-knit group, where everyone has different backgrounds in pharmacy, which means we have a lot to learn from each other. Since we do not have any traditional customer meetings, we also have the opportunity to sit down together every day for lunch or coffee. We look forward to welcoming you to our team!

At Hjärtat's E-pharmacy, there are also warehouse staff, team leaders, and team managers. Together, they ensure that the logistics in the warehouse work and that our customers are very satisfied with their deliveries from us. Our large team of warehouse staff ensures that all orders are picked and packed so that all Hjärtat customers receive their orders at record speed!

Opening hours:

The E-pharmacy is open Monday-Sunday from 06:00 to 23:00, and we work varied hours with great opportunities for evening and weekend work.
