Herrestaskolan opened its doors in January 2016 and today offers a modern and inspiring learning environment for approximately 400 students in grades F–6. Since the autumn term of 2023, an adapted primary school has also been included in the operations. The school is located in the heart of Barkarbystaden – beautifully surrounded by green areas and close to good transport links.

The building is environmentally certified and constructed from solid wood – a sustainable and well-planned place where students' well-being, learning, and future are the focus. We are proud of our school environment, which includes a full-size sports hall, a dedicated kitchen, and a well-equipped schoolyard.

Our school is characterized by high teacher competence and a complete student health team, which together contribute to a safe and developing school environment. Here, a dedicated staff group works with a common focus on ensuring that every student grows and develops – both academically and socially. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged teacher in theoretical subjects for grade 4 for a temporary position!

Do you want to make a difference in students' lives while becoming part of a knowledgeable and supportive team? We are looking for someone who, with confidence, structure, and warmth, wants to take responsibility for teaching theoretical subjects in grade 4.

In the role of teacher, you will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching according to applicable governing documents, both independently and together with colleagues in the team. You will systematically follow up on students' knowledge development and create a clear and inclusive learning environment that gives every student the opportunity to reach as far as possible in their development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and experience in teaching theoretical subjects in the middle school. You have a genuine interest in seeing students develop and grow, and you are a confident and clear leader in the classroom.

You have good collaboration skills, are proactive, and always prioritize the best interests of the student. You are flexible and creative in your problem-solving when needed. You enjoy making your own decisions but see collaboration with colleagues as a natural prerequisite for success in the role.

You have an inclusive working approach, are relationship-building, and actively work to increase student participation. You collaborate naturally and respectfully with guardians, colleagues, and other professionals, and you are loyal to common decisions and guidelines.

Employment type: Temporary employment.
Duration: 3-6 months.
