ABOUT THE ROLE

In our constant strive to develop and ensure quality in our food and beverage department, we are looking for someone who currently works as an assistant kitchen manager or someone who feels ready to take the next step in their career! With passion and knowledge, you will help create memorable taste experiences for our guests while being a leader and role model for the team. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in food, feels comfortable and at home in an event kitchen, and possesses clear leadership qualities.

You will be part of an engaged and experienced team consisting of three chefs, a sous chef, and a head chef who work together daily to exceed our guests' expectations. The role of Assistant Kitchen Manager is primarily an operational position where you will spend the majority of your time in the kitchen coaching and leading the chefs and sous chef while supporting the head chef in daily operations as needed.

What unites everyone working in the kitchen is a genuine interest in the profession, where we prepare international and Swedish cuisine with top-quality ingredients. Every event is unique with varying numbers of guests; regardless of the number, service and quality should permeate the entire operation, and this should therefore be a given for you as well.

At times, some flexibility and hard work will be required.

Being stress-resistant and solution-oriented is therefore a clear advantage. For the right person, it will be both developmental, rewarding, and above all, fun. Since our kitchen consists of many different departments, there are good opportunities for you to both develop and grow. Working hours vary and are scheduled for daytime, evenings, and weekends.

WHO ARE YOU?

• We are looking for someone who is unpretentious, positive, and structured.

• Has at least 1 year of previous experience in leading a kitchen.

• Has a genuine interest and passion for creating high-quality gastronomic experiences.

• You have 5-8 years of professional experience - previous experience in banquet operations and international kitchens is a plus.

• Appreciates the variety that an event kitchen offers, where each event is unique and the number of guests varies.

• You have documented education in the profession or equivalent documented experience.

• You have previous experience leading a team and feel comfortable making decisions regarding daily operations.

• Everyone working with us must be at least 18 years old and speak fluent Swedish or English.
