Job Description Role and Responsibilities

The assignment will be led by the client. After signing the contract, the client intends to have direct and continuous contact with you. You will be part of the agile GIS team that develops needs and manages the GIS system.

Examples of tasks and responsibilities:

  • Further develop the system/solution by participating in technical requirement specification and developing new solutions

  • Configure applications and services in ESRI's platform.

  • Provide support and assistance to internal and external parties.

  • Collaborate with other IT management, operations organizations, and internal staff as needed.

  • Handle IT incidents and participate in troubleshooting and coordination of efforts.

  • Installation and upgrades of products in ESRI's platform.

  • Review performance and implement system improvements.

  • Participate in integration work.

  • Conduct various types of tests during installation and upgrades.

  • Update documentation for the systems, e.g., operational and management instructions as well as system dependencies.

  • Ensure that technical changes in applications do not affect operational reliability and existing functions.

Requirements: 1. At least 5 years of relevant and current work experience given the role and tasks outlined in the job description over the last 10 years. 2. Worked with ESRI's products for at least 5 years such as ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Monitor 3. Completed at least 3 installations and upgrades of ESRI's products 4. At least 2 years of experience working with IT infrastructure. 5. At least 2 years of experience with SDE Enterprise databases 6. At least 1 year of experience working with Python. 7. Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

Merit: 1. Set up BackUpMyOrg at least 2 times 2. Created at least 5 FME scripts for various applications in the ArcGIS platform

The work will require collaboration with other projects and departments. Therefore, it is important to have communication skills, teamwork ability, and a willingness to work in a group.
