The role with us

As an operation and maintenance worker, you will work with all common tasks related to road maintenance, such as summer maintenance to keep the roads safe for traffic. The job includes being on call. Being on call also means being available to assist in the event of traffic accidents. The on-call duty is scheduled.

Your experience

We are looking for someone with:

• experience in operation and maintenance work, construction, or other relevant experience from the contracting industry.
• Preferably, you have a practically oriented educational background and enjoy working in a team.
• A valid B driver's license is required.
• It is an advantage if you have a C driver's license, chainsaw license, operating certificate for wheel loaders, and training in Work on Roads 1.1–1.4 and 2.1–2.3. Previous experience with railing work and construction is also a plus.

Your qualities

We are looking for someone who is practical, responsible, and engaged in their work. The operations are partly driven by events on the roads, which requires you to be flexible and adaptable to the situation. You are communicative and take responsibility for creating a good community and achieving good results together with your colleagues. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Additional information

The employment is a fixed-term position from May 1 to August 31. A probationary period applies.

The position is located in Vilhelmina and surrounding areas. The job includes being on call, which means that work may sometimes occur outside regular working hours. You will report to the site manager in Vilhelmina.

Start date: May 1 or by agreement.
