As a Project Manager, you will participate in the entire construction process, from early concept sketches to move-in. The work is independent and developmental, and you will find yourself in an expansive and stimulating environment. You will work on the construction of both rental apartments and condominiums, as well as all our concepts. You will lead the internal project team, collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and management, and maintain contact with authorities, consultants, contractors, and our customers.

You will belong to the Northern market area, which stretches from Sundsvall in the south to Kiruna in the north, focusing on growth areas in the geography. In the market area, we have a total of ten employees in roles such as project manager, project leader, business developer, sales and marketing manager, and administrator. Within the team, we work across large geographies and collaborate closely in a non-prestigious manner.

Make a difference with us

As a Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for the progress of assigned projects to develop new living environments.

Throughout the process, you are responsible for the project's progress, driving internal project teams, the client role, the client's work environment responsibility, as well as budget and cost calculations in the project.

You are also responsible for ensuring that the projects meet established market, time, economic, and quality frameworks. You will also be the contact person for customers, authorities, and suppliers.

Your specific responsibilities include:

• Be responsible for and independently drive new production projects
• Develop feasibility studies and calculations
• Lead the design work
• Prepare tender documents and contract documents
• Procure and follow up on designers and construction contracts
• Be responsible for project and construction management
• Be responsible for budget, forecast, and calculation work throughout the housing development process.
• Hand over to Riksbyggen's management organization

Contribute with your expertise and commitment

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in the construction or real estate industry. You have experience in project management within housing development or contracting. It is advantageous if you have experience working with new production and knowledge of design management, procurement, and purchasing. If you have previously worked with condominiums, that is a plus – if not, you will receive training with us.

You are an educated construction or civil engineer, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through your work experience.

We place great importance on personal qualities. You have a social ability that creates conditions for good collaboration with colleagues, external consultants, and contractors. You should be able to work independently, be responsible, and be good at working with many different parties. In the profession, it is also important to have the ability to see and meet customer needs and to act commercially. You have a social ability that creates an open and trusting dialogue and can communicate clearly.

You need to be proficient in expressing yourself in speech and writing in Swedish, as this is an important part of the job.
