Pysslingen Preschools - Järven is a preschool that will celebrate its 40th anniversary this spring and has a warm and secure foundation to stand on. We focus on the importance of meetings - big and small - and our unique approach with sustainability and book projects in focus. Now we will further develop and challenge ourselves and dive even deeper together with the children into something we know is so important for children's learning and development: music, movement, and dance. Therefore, we are looking for you, an educated preschool assistant, who has an interest in the magical world of music and experience working with it in preschool. Perhaps you can play an instrument, have taken some courses in some form of music, are great at music gatherings, or have experience singing and working with rhythm in preschool - then we want to hear from you!

We offer a learning environment that we all become curious about, amazed and fascinated by. Our learning environments invite wonder and offer a variety of materials that can be used in different ways, which we call infinite materials. Over the past few years, we have created our own working method that we are very proud of, where we work with a book as a project throughout the year. Together we dive deep into what is of interest to the children at the moment, and our learning environments change along the way. The entire preschool works with the same book and connects it to sustainable preschool. We are also a preschool that has received the award “School for Sustainable Development,” which we actively work with.

About the role

For us, it is important that you who want to work as a preschool assistant at Pysslingen Preschools feel curiosity about your mission. A day at preschool is filled with meaningful meetings between children and educators, and each meeting is part of the child's safety, development, and learning. Therefore, we want to take advantage of this to make preschool safe, educational, and enjoyable for everyone.

As a preschool assistant with us, we want you to see how different children learn in different ways and have the ability to help children learn in all everyday situations and challenge them through play and imagination where they are. You should have a commitment to your mission and the ability to build relationships with both children and guardians.

Practical requirements

• Completed a preschool assistant education (high school or adult education)
• Can work with digital tools
• Is confident in preschool's governing documents
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language and expresses themselves well in speech and writing
• Has experience working with music, movement, and dance in preschool.

Järven Preschool is located in the heart of the Skogalundklippan residential area, close to both greenery and culture. Our profile is sustainable education, where our goal is to equip children for the exciting journey through the endless world of education. When the child leaves us to start school, we want the child to be equipped with a backpack filled with security - the security to be who they are, to question and think critically, to be able to use different materials, tools, and forms of expression, and to be part of a larger community and feel like a global citizen. We are a small preschool where everyone collaborates for the children's best.

This position is a fixed-term employment from March to the end of June 2026 with good opportunities for an extension.
