Do you want to work as a personal assistant and add a golden touch to people's lives? In this role, you will make a difference in people's lives and work together with us towards our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life.

Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You uphold the client's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following:

  • Wants to work with a 16-year-old girl living in Sollentuna

  • Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

  • Has experience with epilepsy

  • Is tolerant of pets as the client has a dog

  • Has good physical condition as there will be heavy lifting/moving involved.

It is also advantageous if you:

  • Have experience with autism

  • Have worked in healthcare and/or as a personal assistant.

  • Have worked with children before.

  • Share the client's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment rate of about 17%. In addition to the scheduled working hours, there is an opportunity to work extra as needed. Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend.

The schedule is set for even weeks and looks as follows;

Wednesday 15:30-21:00, Thursday 15:30-21:00, Friday 18:30-21:00.

Start date

By agreement.

Salary

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are made according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
