About the Position

In the role of support assistant within LSS, you will start from each resident's individual needs and wishes. You provide support in daily life and collaborate with colleagues to ensure that residents receive the support and guidance they need. You contribute to a safe and structured everyday life, a job that means something to others and truly gives meaning. The role requires a genuine interest in people and a desire to contribute to development and quality of life.

The group home is staffed around the clock. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and nights. During the night, sleeping on-call is applied. The position is a permanent employment at 100%.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Providing personal care.
• Being a support during meals.
• Participating in leisure activities.
• Engaging in social interactions with residents and accompanying them on walks.
• Medication administration and performing delegated tasks.
• Following implementation plans established based on the resident's individual needs.
• Performing digital social documentation.

About Our Offer:

We offer a wellness allowance of 5000 SEK per year via Epassi.

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Have completed the child and leisure program, the health and care program with a focus on social work, or nursing assistant training with a focus on disabilities, autism, or equivalent education.
• Experience working with the target group within LSS.
• Good knowledge of AAC.
• Knowledge of conversation methodology.
• Good knowledge of social documentation.
• Experience working in digital systems.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• Have a driver's license.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Knowledge of low-arousal approaches.

About Us

Flygfältets group home 2 is located in Norrtälje, close to both green areas, the center, and good transportation links. Currently, six residents live here. The operation is aimed at individuals who belong to group 1 according to LSS. We are a small and stable workgroup with broad competence, including both support assistants and nursing assistants. Together, we offer our residents individually tailored support, care, and assistance based on each individual's needs, conditions, and wishes outlined in their implementation plans.

We have spacious common areas suitable for everyday life, celebrations, and cozy times, and we strive to add a touch of gold to our residents' everyday lives as often as possible. Therefore, the job may also involve accompanying residents on activities such as cruises, concerts, boat trips, and much more that create joy and participation. Our goal is to provide residents with a meaningful everyday life and to allow them to live as similarly to others as possible.
